- it's true, everything is bigger; their regular sized drinks is bigger than our large, every second person drives a 4WD, and every second person is overweight in some way.

- everything is cheaper

- unlimited free soft drink (soda) refills

- strangers smile if you catch their eye and sometimes even strike up conversation, unlike in Sydney

the crappy weather made it difficult to take a decent picture of the Palace of the Fine Arts, but trust me, it was a breathtaking site.

In-n-Out: minimalist fast food. Was too eager to get back to my burger to take a better photo...it was so good that it made Maccas ones look like they were made by a blindfolded two year old.


3. Yellowstone National Park:
- Everywhere you look is like a scene from a oil painting
